We have several exciting opportunities for curious individuals to join our company, with rotations to
cover the various business departments at Emex. This graduate role will provide individuals with the
opportunity to experience different areas of the business, allowing a wealth of learning and
development possibilities. You will be working in close‐knit, friendly teams that values opinions,
recognises contributions and encourages collaboration. You will be eager to learn, as we are big
advocates of supporting professional development and we encourage pursuing learning
opportunities and cross‐department experiences.

Some of the rotations you may experience as part of this role are outlined below:

  • Customer Success ‐ ensuring existing clients are supported, and conducting training and
    onboarding of new clients
  • Sales – generating new business opportunities involving identifying, researching and
    communicating with prospects
  • Marketing – assist with the creation of content and materials to support the Sales team
  • Innovation – research into the latest technologies and key sustainability trends to generate
    new product ideas
  • Technical Sales – completion of RFPs and lead platform demonstrations for prospects
  • Sustainability Analyst – ensuring our platform is aligned with key sustainability frameworks
    and standards, and keeping on top of sustainability trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team‐oriented, coachable, self‐starter
  • Able to work with different digital tools and platforms
  • Possess a competitive nature, be intellectually curious, and showcase interest in technology
  • Ability to work well within a team and on individual projects
  • Comfortable discussing ideas with internal and external parties
  • Passionate about Sustainability

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a variety of projects across the departments
  • Stay on top of workload and prioritise tasks appropriately
  • Assist the team to meet their targets and goals
  • Build and manage a variety of professional relationships
  • Update the necessary documents and systems as required

We have several exciting opportunities for curious individuals to join our sales team. You will play a
key role in developing a sales strategy to generate leads and opportunities for the team. As a
Graduate Business Development Representative at Emex, you will engage with leaders worldwide in
the Environment, Health & Safety, and Sustainability space to help guide them in digitalising and
managing their sustainability reporting to improve performance. You will be working in a close‐knit,
friendly team that values opinions, recognises contributions and encourages collaboration. You will
be eager to learn, as we are big advocates of supporting professional development and we
encourage pursuing learning opportunities and cross‐department experiences.

Requirements:

  • 0‐2 years of experience in Lead Generation, Sales and/or Marketing
  • Experience working in a goal‐driven environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Able to understand and work with different digital tools and platforms
  • Competitive drive
  • An interest in technology

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a lead base consisting of specific target accounts in an assigned
    territory
  • Engage with targets through a variety of mediums; including calls, emails, video
  • Prospect and identify key executives at target companies, and lay the foundation for a
    strong, long‐lasting relationship
  • Work closely with Account Executives to build a pipeline
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity and opportunity goals through a multiplatform approach
  • Track, update and lead prospects through the CRM system
  • Participate in team meetings, networking, trade show events and activities to grow the
    business
